Simulated Sea Surface Height in the Arctic

Simulated sea surface height in the Arctic Ocean, the Northern face of the cube sphere, is displayed for two integrations with different horizontal biharmonic viscosity, 2.4e11 and 5.0e10 m^4/s, respectively. The figure below displays mean and standard deviation for the two integrations. Sea-level anomaly is animated for the high and for the low viscosity integrations. Colorscale in the two movies ranges from -25 to +25 cm.
