The following MatLAB scripts are from Arnaud Czaja and they include
three groups of routines:

  (i) thermodynamics:
        dry_adiabat.m, moist_adiabat.m: moist and dry adiabats
        calc_LCL.m: lifting condensation level

  (ii) dynamics:
        calc_hadv.m: advection of tracer on a given pressure surface
        calc_vort.m: computes vorticity on a given pressure level
 
  (iii) graphics:
        show_movie.m:
        colorcor.mat, colorxav.mat, bastille.mat:
